About Us

Why we built Mailza

Kenyan businesses have been underserved by the business software market for a long time. We built Mailza to change that.

About Mailza

Built for Kenya.
Built for business.

Mailza is a professional communications and collaboration platform built specifically for Kenyan businesses - priced in KES, with local support, and designed around how you actually work.

Our Story

Most Kenyan businesses we spoke to had the same story: either they were paying unpredictable USD bills for tools with no local support, or they were making do with basic hosting email that was never built for teamwork. There wasn't a middle option that was professional, locally priced, and actually backed by someone you could call. Mailza is that option

Kenyan SMEs use them because there has not been a credible local alternative. But the cost is real: forex exposure, pricing that resets unpredictably, and generic support that does not understand your context.

On the other end, web hosting providers offer email as an add-on - functional for basic correspondence but not built for serious collaboration. Too many businesses are running operations through a cPanel inbox and a WhatsApp group.

Mailza was built to address this gap: a full, professional platform - built for Kenyan businesses, priced in KES, with M-Pesa billing, and backed by local support that understands the environment.

What we believe
01

Business software should serve businesses - not drain them.

The cost of communication tools should be predictable and fair.

02

Local relevance is not a marketing line.

KES billing, M-Pesa payments, KDPA compliance - real operational advantages.

03

Affordability and capability should coexist.

A capable platform should be accessible to a 15-person business, not just a 1500 = person one.

04

Collaboration tools should be unified.

The best work happens in a connected environment - not a fragmented mix of personal accounts.

Our Mission
"To give Kenyan businesses access to professional communications and collaboration tools that are affordable, locally relevant, and backed by responsive support - enabling them to work more effectively and grow with confidence."
